A curated collection, one agent
Sotavento brings together private villas across Mexico and the Caribbean — from Los Cabos and Punta Mita to Tulum, Isla Mujeres and St. Barths — and books them for you as a single, accountable counterparty. We are not a marketplace: we verify each home with its owner or operator, quote from their own rate sheet, and stay with you from the first message to check-out.
How we work
Live availability where the owner shares a calendar. A written Vacation Rental Agreement signed electronically before you pay. Card payments through Stripe or bank transfer to our U.S. account. And a personal concierge on WhatsApp for chef, transfers, celebrations and the details that make a stay effortless.
Where we come from
Sotavento is the villa sister of Altamar Charters, the private yacht charter operator in Cancún and the Riviera Maya. Our founder, Eduardo Mata, runs both from Cancún, Quintana Roo, México. Same team, same standard: honest prices, real availability and someone who answers.
